Judge Kent Retirement Could Spark Appeals Galore

So I thought the nasty saga of Judge Kent was over—Kent, you may recall, is the federal judge charged with sexual abuse who recently announced his retirement as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.  But I may have been wrong.  There are incilings that Judge Kent may try to claim that he is retiring because of a mental disability, thus allowing him to continue to collect a paycheck in retirement.

I know that if I were an attorney who lost a case in the last year, and the judge in that case suddenly admitted that he was too mentally instable to continue on the bench, I would file an immediate appeal, or at least a motion to vacate the judgment.
